Story behind the car
I was told I’m the 3rd owner of this Corvette.  The story goes that the original owner bought this car brand new in Kansas City.  He drove it up to Omaha to show his friend.  When his friend saw the car he immediately needed to have one just like it.  They went to every dealership in Omaha and they could not find an identical C3 so he told his friend he was going to buy his car.  His friend was hesitant at first but he eventually found another car (camaro) in Omaha and sold the Corvette to his friend (now the second owner).  The gentleman I purchased the car from had it from 1976 until I bought it on 07/03/2006.

The car has been garaged its entire life.  The interior and exterior of the car is all original.  It has the original lacquer paint which does have some fading on the drivers side front fender, otherwise the paint is great for a 47 year old car.  The front urethane bumper is starting to crack but the rear urethane bumper is in good shape.

The interior is really clean and in great shape.  The black leather seats are in great condition with no rips/tears.  The dashboard is in excellent condition - no cracks or fading.  The original AM/FM radio still works.

I never dropped the gas tank to see if the build sheet is still there, but since the car has always been garaged, some of the original build sheet might still be there.

Hagerty has this car at $11,900 in Good Condition
