A beautiful 1973 Corvette Stingray. This is
the last year to have the chrome rear bumper and the first year
for the integrated rubber front end/bumper system. This car just
turned 63,000 miles. It has a beautiful Gold paint job (2005),
nearly flawless with only one stone chip on the right front
fender. Wheels are painted to match with chrome centers and
rally wheel rings. There are no distortions or stress cracks on
the body. All of the chrome trim is excellent. Black interior is
good with only minor wear showing on the driver’s seat and some
minor cracks on the door panels at the kick plate and near the
arm rest. The carpeting is all new. All of the rubber weather
stripping was replaced when painted. Windows are custom/dark
tinted. This car is a good dependable driver. Everything works
(including the hide-a-way headlamps.) The only exception is the
shift indicator for the floor shifter and there is a small (<2
inch) wiper mark on upper left windshield, hidden in the factory
tint area. The brakes, shocks, suspension, exhaust, motor and
transmission are in excellent shape. This car does not leak oil
or fluids. All of the hoses and belts are new. Alternator, water
pump and heater core are also new. Tires are excellent. The
car was checked out by a licensed mechanic
before I purchased it. Everything checked out including the
frame which is solid and not rusted. The car was appraised and
insured for $25,000 with the insurance company. This was done
after inspection, submission of photos and other additional
documentation to the carrier. This is a 350 (L48) equipped car,
turbo-hydromatic transmission, with the cowl induction style
hood. It has PS, PB, dual exhaust with SS square tips,
automatic, tilt/telescoping wheel, and a factory luggage rack.
It has an AM/FM factory radio with an aftermarket amplifier. It
has the stowage bags for the T-tops. the car is all stock,
exactly as ordered (except for the windows and amplifier). This
car is a real head turner and has won best in class trophies in
area car shows. I bought the car about three years ago. The car
was female owned. She drove it in parades and MI car shows. The
car has never seen rain, let alone snow since it was repainted.
I drive the car in cruises and for pleasure. It is stored inside
otherwise. I believe I am the forth owner of this car
Please call Tim at (313)510-4494 if you have questions or need
any additional information. You are welcome to have he car
inspected/appraised (at your expense)if you desire.
I am asking $17,500 for the car.
I am open to offers including possible trades. I am most interested in
older hot rods/customs or classic convertibles as trading items
for consideration, but would consider other items. Thank you for
your interest and consideration of this fine car. |
