1969 Black Chevy Convertible Corvette -
When I first started looking I wanted a 69 due to the slightly
larger wheels and better reputation. It took a while to find a
\"White Hat\" which just means it is a farely rare white top. It
looks better and is cooler in the sun. Then I had to find the
auto with a/c, power steering and power brakes in case my wife
wanted to drive it. I had it painted from Burgundy to Black
about three years ago and it still looks great. I also had a
custom stereo installed with a screen that pops out upon
starting the car. It hooks up to your ipod/iphone and allows you
to control it with the touch screen on the stereo. There really
isn\'t anywhere to put speakers so a custom box with a built in
amp had to be fabricated. Last year I had the floor/tunnel
insulated and three months ago had the carburetor rebuilt with
ethanol tolerant seals and gaskets for the new pump gas. The
frame looks fantastic and I was told the numbers match but I
haven\'t ever double checked that. It runs amazing and shifts
perfect. The odometer reads 55510 but I have no reason to think
that is accurate. Accessories include: AC, Alarm, Automatic
